Abducktion Privacy Policy (Android)

Abducktion (the "App") is developed and published by Very Special Games ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you. This policy applies specifically to the Abducktion mobile application distributed through the Google Play Store on Android devices, and supplements (does not replace) any separate privacy policy governing our website or online store.

The App is intended for users age 13 and older. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. See "Children's Privacy" below.

1. Information We Collect

a. Advertising Identifiers (via Google AdMob)

The App displays advertising through Google AdMob. To serve ads, AdMob and its partners may collect:

• Your device's Android Advertising ID (AAID)
• General device information (device model, operating system version, language, time zone)
• Approximate (non-precise) location, derived from IP address
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, and engagement with ads)

Where required by law — including for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland — the App presents a consent prompt when you first open it, allowing you to accept or decline the use of your data for personalized advertising. If you decline, or if you have turned off ad personalization on your device, you will see non-personalized ads instead, and your advertising identifier will not be used for cross-app or cross-site tracking. Google, as the ad network operator, processes this data under its own privacy policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy. Google's use of advertising data is also governed by its Ads Data Processing Terms.

b. Anonymized Analytics and Save Data

To understand how players use the App and to improve gameplay and stability, we collect:

• Save file / gameplay statistics — for example, progression milestones, session length, and feature usage — collected in aggregate and not tied to your name, email, or any account identifier.
• Crash and diagnostic data — technical logs generated when the App crashes or encounters an error, used solely to identify and fix bugs. This may include device type, OS version, and the app state at the time of the crash.

This data is collected in a de-identified or anonymized form and is not used to identify you personally.

c. In-App Purchase

The App offers a single, one-time in-app purchase to remove ads ("Ad-Free Unlock"). This transaction is processed entirely by Google Play's billing system, not by us directly. We do not receive or store your payment card information. We receive only a confirmation that the purchase was completed, which we use to disable ad serving on your device going forward. Once purchased, AdMob's data collection described in Section 1a no longer applies to your device.

d. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, physical address, or precise GPS location. We do not require account creation to play the App.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• Serve advertising within the App
• Diagnose and fix crashes, bugs, and performance issues
• Understand aggregate player behavior to improve game design and features
• Comply with legal obligations and Google Play requirements

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the data collected for cross-app or cross-site tracking.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We share limited data with the following third parties, solely to operate the App:

4. Your Choices

• Reset or delete your advertising ID: On Android, open Settings → Google → Ads. There you can delete your advertising ID (which stops apps from using it to serve personalized ads), reset it, or turn on "Opt out of Ads Personalization."
• Manage advertising consent (EEA / UK / Switzerland): If you are in a region where the App shows a consent prompt, you can decline personalized advertising there, and you can change your choice later in the App's in-app privacy or consent settings.
• Delete your data: Because we do not maintain individual user accounts, there is generally no separate account-level record for us to delete beyond what is tied to your device's advertising identifier. If you would like your advertising data disassociated, you can reset or delete your device's advertising identifier as described above, or contact us using the information below.

5. Children's Privacy

Abducktion is intended for users age 13 and older and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with information, please contact us so we can address it.

6. Data Retention

Anonymized analytics and crash data are retained only as long as necessary to support the purposes described above (typically for app improvement and debugging), after which they are deleted or further aggregated.

7. International Users

If you access the App from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers (such as Google) operate. By using the App, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in these locations.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the App's features, or legal requirements. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made. Material changes will be reflected in an updated Google Play listing or in-app notice where appropriate.
